Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band Announce New Album And Tour
The blogisphere is exploding with excitement once again for Bruce Springsteen andThe E Street Band. Well that excitement is for good reason. The Rock legends took to their official website this week to announce plans for both a world tour, and new album. The tour’s European dates have been confirmed to run from the middle of May until end of July. Specifics regarding dates in the US and the rest of the world are expected to follow.
According to the band’s official website, the eagerly anticipated new music is “almost done.” The Band has almost settled on the release date for their still untitled new project, but “not quite yet.” The band did give the following statement: “we are all incredibly excited about everything that we’re planning for 2012. That’s all the info we have for right now, but we’ll get back to you–real soon.”
This highly active 2012 tour comes in the wake of the death of famed E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons. Clemons died in June from complications from a stroke. He was 69 years old.
