BACKSTREET BOYS AND FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE UNITE TO PERFORM EACH GROUP’S BIGGEST HITS DURING ‘CMT CROSSROADS’ PREMIERING AUGUST 30th
CMT announced today that pop and country powerhouses Backstreet Boys and Florida Georgia Line will join forces to perform never-before-heard renditions of each group’s biggest hits during “CMT Crossroads” premiering Wednesday, August 30 at 10 PM ET/PT.
The special comes on the heels of strong growth for CMT, which just notched its highest-rated fiscal 3rd quarter since 2014 with 14% year-over-year growth among Adults 18-49. Furthermore, CMT has posted 32 consecutive weeks of year-over-year growth with Adults 18-49. Competitively for fiscal 3rd quarter, CMT ranks as the fastest growing Top 50 (non-news) channel with Women 18-49.
“Being such fans of each other, this is a really fun way for us to put our mark on our songs,” said BSB’s Brian Littrell. “It’s going to be a fun night with seven guys who really admire one another. I’m looking forward to what comes of it!”

No strangers to performing with each other – FGL teamed up with BSB on their platinum-certified, #1 hit single “God, Your Mama, And Me,” and the iconic pop group is currently alongside the unstoppable duo for select stadium dates on their The Smooth Tour 2017 – the one-hour show promises to be nothing short of high-energy as they perform hits “I Want It That Way,” “As Long As You Love Me,” “Cruise,” “H.O.L.Y.” and more.
