Artist Of The Month: Jordan Fisher

Jordan Fisher has been training and working as an actor, singer, song writer, dancer, and choreographer since he was 10 years old. He has worked with ABC Family, Disney, Disney XD, Nickelodeon, Sony and most recently, starred as SEACAT in Disney’s Teen Beach Movie!

Jordan is writing his own music and is in the recording studio at every opportunity! He has a passion for most genres of music, but is particulary drawn to Retro Pop/R&B. He also enjoys playing the piano, the guitar, the bass and the drums.

Birmingham, Alabama is where Jordan was born and raised. That is also where he began his career with a professional musical theatre company where he performed for 7 years. He had the opportunity to work with many Broadway stars and perform many lead roles. Besides working as an actor, he had many opportunities to choreograph shows, teach dance and acting, assistant direct, and many behind the scenes activities.

Jordan’s dancing career started with a love for gymnastics. At two years old, he began classes and by the time he was 10, he had won many gold medals in the South Eastern Region Men’s Gymnastics. While he was working as a gymnast, he started teaching himself to dance. Jordan has worked with and trained with many renowned choreographers! He now teaches various classes around the LA area when time permits.
