Alvin And The Chipmunks Get Funky With Redfoo and Bella Thorne In “Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Road Chip”

20^th Century Fox and Regency Enterprises is bringing the fourth installment of their Alvin And The Chipmunks series to theatres this Friday, December 18^th. Like the previous films in this series, and every other version of these characters in previous releases from Ross Bagdasarian’s franchise, the characters continue the tradition of putting their own delightful new spin on modern pop hits. With that said, it is no surprise that music plays a major role in the latest film about these multi-platinum singing chipmunks.

Recently 20^th Century Fox’s ,Fox Family Entertainment YouTube channel has released a cool clip that has the actors from the film discussing just how much music is featured Alvin, Simon And Theodore’s road “chip.” The clip even features an appearance from former LMFAO member, Redfoo, who also makes a cameo in the film.

Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Road Chip has the boys hitting the road after a series of misunderstandings. Alvin, Simon and Theodore then believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in Miami, and then send them back to the forest. They have just three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining terrible a stepbrother.  The film reunites the majority the cast from the first three films in the series. Jason Lee returns as Dave Seville, while Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, and Jesse McCartney return as the voices as Alvin, Simon And Theodore. Anna Faris and Christina Applegate also return as the voices of Jeanette and Brittany from the Chippetts, while The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco replaces Amy Poehler as the voice of Eleanor. The movie also stars Tony Hale, Kimberly Williamss-Paisley, Josh Green, and Bella Thorne,
