ALESSIA CARA, JASON DERULO, HAILEE STEINFELD, ZEDD, DAYA AND MORE JOIN HOST NICK CANNON FOR 2016 NICKELODEON HALO AWARDS

Pop music’s hottest stars—Alessia Cara, Jason Derulo, Hailee Steinfeld, Zedd, and Daya–are coming together for the 2016 Nickelodeon HALO Awards, a concert special honoring four young community leaders who are changing the world by “Helping and Leading Others” (HALO). Led by host, creator and executive producer Nick Cannon, the one-hour musical event will also feature a special performance by JoJo Siwa, along with appearances by music artists Jake Miller and Jacob Whitesides, and stars of Nickelodeon’s hit shows, The Thundermans, held at New York’s Pier 36, will be simulcast Sunday, Nov. 27, at 7 p.m. (ET/PT), across Nickelodeon, Awards 2016 Nickelodeon HALO. The School of Rock and TeenNick and Nicktoons.
“The 2016 Nickelodeon HALO Awards honorees are truly outstanding role models for this young generation and I can’t wait to celebrate them at this one-of-a-kind concert event,” said Cannon. “The passion and commitment of these four teens have enabled them to bring about social change, helping thousands of kids around the world and inspiring countless others. That’s what HALO is all about.”
The 2016 Nickelodeon HALO Awards will feature: pop singer/songwriter Alessia Cara, with her inspiring hit “Scars To Your Beautiful;” global chart-topper Jason Derulo performing a medley of his greatest hits; multi-platinum recording artist and Academy Award-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld and production duo Grey, with a performance of “Starving,” featuring Grammy-winning DJ and producer Zedd, who will also take the lead for an all-star finale; and multi-platinum artist Daya, performing her girl-power anthem, “Sit Still, Look Pretty.” Additionally, Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa will make her TV performance debut with her viral anti-bullying hit “Boomerang.”
