Adam Levine To Host SNL With Kendrick Lamar As Musical Guest
After getting back in the office yesterday, we happily took notice to the fact that Maroon 5 singer and The Voice Coach, Adam Levine is scheduled to host Saturday Night Live. Don’t expect him to break out his “Moves Like Jaggar” though. Because he recently hit SNL’s musical stage back in November, He isn’t scheduled to do so when he returns to studio 8H on January 26th.. Instead, that role is set to be filled by break out Compton Rapper Kendrick Lamar.
Adam and his band Maroon 5 were one of the most talked about in the now past year of 2012 thanks to their hit’s “Payphone”, and “One More Night” . “Payphone” was the highest debut by a group and the third-highest overall selling 493,000 digital units in its first week back in April. Kendrick on the other hand is currently promoting his current single, “Poetic Justice” which features Drake, and a clever Janet Jackson sample. New Episodes of SNL return to NBC on January 19th with Jennifer Lawrence as host, and musical guest The Lumineers.
