Seventeen years after the death of 2pac Shakur The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has agreed to show him some “California Love” and grant him a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. As it turns out, this is a big week of posthumous activity for 2Pac. Rolling Stone reported that his music is going to be featured in a new Broadway musical called “Holler if Ya Hear Me.” The current targeted start date is sometime within the 2013-2014 Broadway season. The show will be based around an original story about two childhood friends that live in a fictional Midwestern city. It will chronicle their journey through life as they struggle to meet their dreams while facing the challenges of difficult circumstances. It will be produced by 2Pac’s mother Afeni Shakur.
