ZZ WARD TO PERFORM AT JAY-Z’S MADE IN AMERICA CONCERT IN LA Second Bonnaroo Performance Added June 13

Topping off a year that included her third sold out U.S. headline tour, a buzzworthy Coachella debut and opening for Eric Clapton, ZZ Ward will join Imagine Dragons, Kendrick Lamar, School Boy Q, Rita Ora and more at this year’s Budweiser Made In America concert in LA over Labor Day weekend, as announced by Jay-Z last month.
Ward, who burst onto the scene with a fiery mix tape in early 2012, sparked a critical frenzy with her soulful take on a blues/hip hop mash-up that culminated in the critically-acclaimed debut release Til The Casket Drops which has sold over 125K albums to date. A bona fide headliner and quickly becoming a festival darling, Ward has been called out for her musical swagger, onstage prowess and savvy style byVanity Fair, NPR, USA Today, ELLE, Chicago Tribune, LA Times and the NY Times who noted, “Her energy evokes Tina Turner’s, her chops Aretha Franklin’s and her soul Etta James’s.”
Next up for ZZ Ward will be her Bonnaroo debut on June 12th, followed by a second, acoustic set on June 13th.
