Multi-talented actress, platinum-selling recording artist, and newly announced COVERGIRL, Zendaya, is quickly becoming one of this generation’s most influential rising stars.

Zendaya currently stars and co-produces the Disney Channel’s hit spy comedy “K.C. Undercover,” and is working on the follow up to her self-titled debut album, which yielded the platinum-certified single “Replay.” An NAACP, BMI and Teen Choice Award nominated entertainer, Zendaya has performed around the world, including at the White House.

The multi-faceted artist continues to grow as a prominent figure in the fashion world.  Her ability to command a red carpet has earned her a reputation among fashion elite, garnering praise from the likes of InStyle, Elle, Glamour, W Magazine and more.  In 2015, Zendaya was named one of “this year’s emerging style icons” by Harper’s Bazaar and invited to attend Vogue’s prestigious Met Gala.

Outside of entertainment, Zendaya is committed to a bevy of philanthropic work.  She is an ambassador for Convoy of Hope, served as the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF spokesperson last fall, and has worked with Make-a-Wish Foundation and Keep A Child Alive.

Now that she has accomplished so much in the acting and fashion world, she is trying “Something New” in her music career as well. Just last week, Zendaya released her new sexy duet with Chris Brown. It is Zendaya’s first official single release since signing her deal with Republic Records. (Not including her recent contribution to Neverland: The Album) I Her new track is appropriately titled, “Something New.” The tune does the job of allowing Zendaya  to step away from her Disney image to try something just a bit more adult. The Babyface and Khris Riddick-Tynes produced track pulls you in and makes you keep listening over and over. If you find yourself singing along thinking you may have heard it before, that’s because “Something New” cleverly borrows from something classic. The track samples the 1994 hit “Creep” from Babyface’s former LaFace Records artists, TLC. The song is worth listening to for the nostalgic factor alone. Check it out!
