ZEDD ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF THE MOMENT OF CLARITY DOCUMENTARY

Multi-platinum, GRAMMY award winning, artist/DJ/producer Zedd announces the premiere of The Moment Of Clarity Documentary set to debut on Vevo December 18th at 7pm ET/PT.  The broadcast premiere will air on Palladia December 21st at 10pm ET/PT.  Executive produced by Zedd and Sam Sabawi of Sunblock Studios, the 26 minute film was directed by Justin Nizer of Eyewax Films and chronicles his journey from the release of his critically acclaimed debut album Clarity through his first major sold out US headline tour, culminating with his “Clarity” Ft. Foxes GRAMMY Award win for Best Dance Recording in 2014.  The documentary was filmed over a 12 month period and features, behind the scenes footage and an unfiltered glimpse into Zedd’s life and creative process with cameos from Skrillex, Deadmau5, Hayley Williams, Dillon Francis and many more.

Zedd, born Anton Zaslavski, has separated himself in a crowded field by drawing from a diverse musical training and a background spanning from classical to post-hardcore/metal to electro house, creating detailed, carefully produced compositions that also appeal to audiences outside of the EDM realm.  After signing with Interscope Records in 2012, Zedd released his debut album Clarity to much critical acclaim with Rolling Stone deeming him an “Artist to Watch.” Title track, “Clarity”, climbed to No. 2 at Top 40 radio, went Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won a 2014 GRAMMY Award for Best Dance Recording.  The video has racked up more than  100 million Vevo views while his platinum follow-up hit single “Stay The Night” ft. Hayley Williams of Paramore has over  86 million Vevo views and won the 2014 MTV Clubland VMA.   Zedd first made waves with a series of remixes of tracks by Skrillex, The Black Eyed Peas, Fatboy Slim, and Lady Gaga. He has headlined at numerous festivals including Coachella, Outside Lands, Bonnaroo, Ultra, Electric Daisy Carnival, Nocturnal, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Electric Zoo and many more.  Zedd will release his new album in 2015 with more details to come soon.
