WE are the world album art

In 1985 Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones  and Lionell Richie, teamed up to creaate the charity anthem for African Famine “We Are The World.” Certified multi platinum, “We Are The World” became the most successful pop song of the time world wide.  Following the tragic earthquakes in Haiti, The pair decided yesterday that they have teamed with musician /Hataian ambassador, Wyclef Jeanand  producers Redone and producer/musical director Rickey Minor, to record an updated  version to benefitthe earthquake’s victims. 
The world premiere of what is called, “We Are The World  25 For Hatian relief  will air as part of   NBC coverage of the Opening Ceremony of the Vancouver Winter  Olimpics on Friday, February 12th.
