Warner Music Group Down $37Million! Aug 7, 2009

Yesterday’s music industry trade news delivered to Clizbeats via Allaccess.com, reported that Warner Music Group sustained a recent noticeable loss in revenue. Reports indicate that this dip was due to the continued slump in traditionally recorded and distributed music sales. The industry’s third-largest music company reported its loss was $37 million, for business quarter number 3, which ended June30th.  This blow to Warner’s budget is $28 million more then what was indicated in the same report a year earlier, with a loss of only $9 million.
