UK BUZZ BAND THE MISPERS EMBARK ON FIRST-EVER NORTH AMERICAN RUN INCLUDING STOPS IN NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES AND BONNAROO

British sensations The Mispers have been selling out shows in the UK, much in part to their unmatched live performances, and are now amidst their first-ever North American run, that includes dates in New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto, as well as an appearance at Bonnaroo.
“It’s like Arcade Fire and Phoenix were locked in a sweaty room and told not to come out until they’ve hit the heights of Black Keys “Lonely Boy,”” exclaimed XFM.
Originating two years ago, the quintet’s notable ascent started immediately following the recording of their first demo, a mere two weeks after forming. That first song, “Brother,” landed in Zane Lowe’s influential hands, who was quick to spin it on BBC Radio 1. A month later, The Mispers took the stage for the first time in London. It wasn’t long until their shows became synonymous with a community the band proudly built around themselves, with a history of sell-out shows to prove it.
Yesterday, the band’s four-song Weekend EP was released on Harvest Records, while the video for the title track premiered on Vevo.
“The Mispers’ meteoric rise looks set to continue,” exclaimed The Guardian. They added: “And with no boundaries, no rules and the doors always open to their own sweat-drenched, fun-filled world, now’s the perfect time to go missing and find The Mispers.”
