Top Dawg Entertainment And Kendrick Lamar Announce “T.D.E. Championship Tour”

Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) has released a star-studded promo video for the upcoming and highly anticipated Championship Tour. Kicking off May 4 in Vancouver, the tour features TDE artists Kendrick Lamar, SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, SiR, Lance Skiiiwalker and, on select dates, Isaiah Rashad.

Paying homage to the movie Rocky, the Championship Tour promo video follows Lamar and his tourmates on the tennis and basketball courts, golf course, soccer field, and track. The video, directed by Jack Begert and Dave Free of the little homies, was made in collaboration with Lyft, who have partnered with Top Dawg Entertainment as part of a shared effort to promote responsible riding among Championship Tour attendees with an exclusive TDE app takeover for select cities and discounted rides.

We really appreciate our fans and want to give them the best possible experience for TDE’s first tour with our full roster- with providing responsible ride options to and from,” said President of Top Dawg Entertainment, Dave Free.

Wrapping up on June 16 in Pittsburgh, the 29-date Championship Tour follows a series of major triumphs from Top Dawg Entertainment. In February, the label saw Black Panther The Album Music From and Inspired By debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Co-created by Lamar and label CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, the soundtrack features the hit single “All The Stars” by Lamar and SZA.

A platinum-selling and twelve-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist, Lamar will serve as headliner for the Championship Tour. With his most recent album DAMN. having topped multiple “Best of 2017” lists, Lamar is regarded as one of the most important, critically acclaimed, and creatively innovative artists all the world over.
