Tony Bennett “Just In Time” For Star Studded New Album

We have to take a moment to give a shout out to the Jazz Vocal singer extraordinaire, Tony Bennett.  The classic crooner is proving that when it comes to making good music, age ain’t nothin’ but a number.  Last week Columbia Records serviced the latest song to come out out of his long and illustrious career.   Guest starring Michael Buble, the song entitled “Just In Time” is the first single from Tony’s 48th album, Duets II.  Serving as a sequel to his 2006 album Duets, Duets II features a whoes who of Pop music stand outs.

Some of you may recall that reports of Bennett recording music with the late Amy Winehouse came to light in the aftermath of her death from a drug overdose last month.  Well, as it turns out, that song entitled “Body And Soul” was intended for this album.  Winehouse and Buble  joined  on the album by other big name siging guests like, Queen Latifah, John Mayer, Aretha Franklin, Andrea Bocelli, Willie Nelson, Norah Jones, Josh Groban, Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill, Alejandro Sanz, K. D. Lang, Carrie Underwood, Lady Gaga, and Mariah Carey.

It is wonderful to hear that the voice he was blessed with is still so strong at 85 years old. Duets II is scheduled to be released by Columbia Records on September 20th.  In the mean time take a listen to Tony Bennett and Michael Buble performing  “Just In Time” below.  Enjoy!
