TIËSTO’S “A TOWN CALLED PARADISE” LANDS DEBUTS TODAY AT #2 iTUNES DANCE CHART & TOP 10 OVERALL

June 17, 2014 – NEW YORK, NY — After months of mounting anticipation, TIËSTO‘s fifth full-length album, A Town Called Paradise [Casablanca Records/ Republic Records/ Musical Freedom], both Standard and Deluxe versions, are now available in stores and at all digital outlets. A Town Called Paradise debuted today at #2 on the iTunes Dance Chart and in the Top 10 overall chart. Last week, Tiësto teamed up with “First Play” on iTunes Radio in order to exclusively premiere A Town Called Paradise. Moreover, the electronic dance music legend will take the stage at Terminal 5 in New York City tonight for a sold out show—7UP Presents Tiësto’s A Town Called Paradise—celebrating the release.

His very first release for a major label, the album seamlessly merges TIËSTO‘s signature production style with invigorating and incendiary pop prowess. A few choice cuts have already lit up dance floors worldwide. The single “Wasted” [featuring Matthew Koma] remains a sizzling summer anthem landing at #3 in the UK, while “Let’s Go” [featuring Icona Pop] stands out with its massive hook and potent groove. The tracklisting also boasts “Red Lights”, which hit #6 on the official UK Singles Chart and became his first-ever Top 10 song in the UK. To date, its video has accumulated over 22 million views and counting on YouTube/VEVO.

TIËSTO  also invited a bevy of friends along for tonight’s show. He’ll headline the night with a DJ set, but he has also hand-picked a powerful bill including live performances by album collaborators Icona Pop, Matthew Koma, Ladyhawke, Michel Zitron, Cruickshank,DBX (aka John James Newman), and Quilla. Moreover, rising star and 7UP’s Bubbling UP DJ Danny Avila will kick off the festivities.
