Skylar Grey

GRAMMY-nominated singer songwriter Skylar Grey will join GRAMMY Award winner Bruno Mars on his nearly sold-out European tour as a special guest.  Beginning October 3rd in Copenhagen, Denmark, Grey will open for the singer on more than a dozen dates which include an appearance in London on October 23rd as well as stops in Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, France and more.  Grey’s single, “Invisible,” from her forthcoming debut album INVINSIBLE, due out January 2012 from KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records, was selected for the iTunes “Single of the Week” program during the week it debuted, garnering more than 500,000 downloads and making it one of Universal’s biggest downloads ever.

The 25-year-old singer-songwriter Grey co-penned the biggest-selling single of 2010, Eminem/Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie.”  Grey is also the songwriter and featured singer on Diddy-Dirty Money’s “Coming Home” and more recently Dr. Dre’s “I Need a Doctor” and Lupe Fiasco’s “Words I Never Said.”  In total, her work has reaped over 15 million singles globally. Skylar has already begun setting the world alight with her first big performance at Lollapalooza in August where she played tracks from the new album live and also joined Eminem on stage for his headlining set.

Grey’s INVINSIBLE, produced by Alex Da Kid, will take listeners by storm with a breathlessly original sound – a sonic exploration in darkly brooding yet beautiful vocal textures, innovative beats and biting lyrics.  From “Invisible,” to INVINSIBLE, the album’s theme chronicles the transformation Grey has made over the past few years as she has struggled to find her place in the world.  The music video for “Invisible,” has surpassed three million views and is available now on her YouTube channel
