Scott Weiland’s toxicology report is in. Testing shows that the former Stone Temple Pilots singer died from an overdose of several drugs, and alcohol, while also indicating that his history of addiction also played a role.
According to TMZ, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner says that Weiland over dosed on cocaine, MDA and alcohol. Substances aside, that testing also showed that heart disease and asthma were “significant” conditions. The test results also revealed Scott’s “multi-substance dependence” was a factor.
A TMZ exclusive states that police also found Xanax, sleeping pills, Viagra, and meds to treat bipolar disorder on the bus — but those drugs did not play a factor in his death.
