Alessia Cara, G-Eazy featuring Bebe Rexha, Flo Rida featuring Macy Kate, Martin Garrix also with Bebe Rexha, John Legend, Mike Posner and Hailee Steinfeld are the final performers to join the Billboard Hollywood Party on ABC’s telecast of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2017.” As previously announced, Fergie will host and perform at the event, with additional performances by Fifth Harmony featuring Kid Ink and Ty Dolla $ign, Niall Horan, Lukas Graham, Shawn Mendes and Emeli Sande. America’s biggest celebration of the year will take place on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31 beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the ABC Television Network.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of America’s biggest celebration of the year which includes 5 ½ hours of special performances and reports on New Year’s celebrations from around the globe. Ryan Seacrest will host and lead the traditional countdown to midnight from Times Square in New York City, as he has for the last 11 years, with live onsite reporting from actress and comedian Jenny McCarthy. Mariah Carey, DNCE, Thomas Rhett and Gloria Estefan with the cast of her Broadway musical ON YOUR FEET! will perform for more than one million fans live in Times Square and millions more on TV.

Canadian singer/songwriter and Def Jam Recordings artist Alessia Caraemerged onto the music scene in 2015 with the release of her iconic anthem “Here.” Co-written by Sebastian Kole, “Here” garnered over 500,000 total streams in its first week and went on to crack the Top 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 list, and rose to No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop and Pop Songs charts in early 2016. A JUNO award winner for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Cara has also been nominated for an AMA for Best New Artist of the Year. She also recently completed a summer tour with Coldplay before hitting the road for her “Know-It-All” part 2 tour. A five-track EP, Four Pink Walls, was released in August 2015, followed by the full-length Know It All three months later. Her latest hit single, “Scars to Your Beautiful,” is Cara’s gut-wrenching take on female identity, on body image and on deleterious behaviors in the name of beauty. Cara walks listeners through heartache but concludes with strains of promise: “So to all the girls that’s hurting/Let me be your mirror, help you see a little bit clearer,” and the touching refrain: “There’s a hope that’s waiting for you in the dark /You should know you’re beautiful just the way you are.” The song recently hit the top five of Billboard’s Pop Songs chart.

Bay Area rapper G-Eazy is 2016’s biggest breakout hip-hop artist. He has skyrocketed to superstardom with the release of his sophomore album When It’s Dark Out (RVG/BPG/RCA Records) which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Chart and Top Rap Albums Chart and #5 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart and now is RIAA certified platinum selling over 1 million copies in the US. The album features his smash single “Me, Myself, and I” with Bebe Rexha which is certified 3 times platinum and has sold over 5 million copies worldwide. The track was #1 at both Top 40 and rhythm radio for 2 weeks and reached #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. On Spotify, “Me, Myself, and I” has over 514 million listens and peaked at #2 on the US and #3 on Global Charts.

It’s easy to get lost in the numbers behind Martin Garrix’s meteoric rise.
