It was widely reported late yesterday, that the Hip Hop music world lost one of its most impactful contributors. Nathan Hale, better known by his Hip Hop Stage name Nate Dogg, passed away on Tuesday, March 15th 2011. He was 41 years old.

Though the reason for his death was not yet announced, this marks the end of a 4 year battle of personal health for Nate Dogg.  In 2007 it was reported that he was hospitalized with what was eventually revealed to be a stroke.  The damage of the condition had rendered the left side of his body paralyzed.  Doctors did expect him to be able to make a full recovery with no effect on his voice, until later suffering a second stroke.  The last report regarding his health prior to the recent news of his death, indicated that Nate was receiving physical Therapy in hopes to regain more “Normality”.

Frequent collaborator and long time friend, rapper Snoop Dogg was the first to publicly morn the loss of Nate Dogg via his twitter.
