History-making multiplatinum Dallas, TX artist Post Malone has achieved “the biggest album debut of 2018” with his second full-length, beerbongs & bentleys [Republic Records]. Marking his first entry atop the respective chart, he captures #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and shatters the “first day and one-week streaming records” on Spotify—U.S. and Global. Total consumption exceeded 461K with 153K traditional sales in under one week.

Meanwhile, he crushed both the U.S. and Global streaming records for “most first-week audio streams, stirring up 431 million-plus streams stateside and 675 million-plus streams worldwide, eclipsing the previous record of 384 million streams set by Drake’s More Life in 2017. It emerges as “the first album with over 400 million audio streams in a single week.

Post also notched three songs in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, beerbongs & bentleys already received a platinum certification from the RIAA, making it one of only 2 platinum albums released in 2018. Lastly, Stoney returns to the Top 10 making Post “the first artist with two albums in the Billboard Top 200 simultaneously since Linkin Park in August 2017.

May 20 sees him descend upon the 2018 Billboard Music Awards with a total of 13 nominations—including Top Male Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Rap Artist, and Top Billboard 200 Album in addition to two nominations in the Top Streaming Song (Audio) category.

Announcing today, Post will be adding a Hollywood Bowl date to his massive sold out summer headline tour which is now underway with multi-platinum rapper 21 Savage and special guest SOB RBE sponsored by blu and produced by Live Nation. The tour will wrap at the famous venue in Los Angeles, CA on June 27.  Tickets for the show will go on sale to the general public starting May 11th at 10am PT at LiveNation.com. The remaining 27 dates of the North America tour are completely sold out, with over 300,000 tickets sold.
