P!nk has been busy lately.  It was only last month when she set the release date for her 6th studio album The Truth About Love, starting a stream of press and radio play centered around her new single, “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” . Well now as her new music is picking up momentum, the multitalented P!nk has also taken on the new job of “Cover Girl” for Cover Girl Cosmetics.

It was officially announced yesterday that the Pop star would join the list of notable female celebrities representing the company as  as their latest spokeswoman.  She discussed the excitement of all her emerging projects in an official statement.

“I have a lot to celebrate. I called my new album The Truth About Love, and the truth is that I have my beautiful family and baby girl, my new music, and now my partnership with CoverGirl to love. Joining a group of women who have always inspired me – to laugh out loud, let my guard down, or play around with my beauty look – is such an honor.”

“P!nk is a powerful and provocative role model, who has always been an advocate of individualism and making no apologies for who you are,” said Esi EgglestonBracey, VP and General Manager, CoverGirl Cosmetics.

Other music stars to take on the role of “Cover Girl” include Queen Latifah, Rihanna, Brandy, Faith Hill, and Taylor Swift. The P!nk Cover Girl campaign is reportedly set to start this Fall.  This will be perfact timing for the release of her album The Truth About Love which has a September 18th release date.
