NEW YORK, NY, July 30^th 2014 — Multi-talented recording artist and actor, Nick Jonas premiered his new song, “Chains,” last week and the sleek, seductive track has already received rave reviews from Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, Entertainment Tonight, MTV, VH1, Perez Hilton and Idolator. “Chains” shows a more mature side of Nick Jonas.  The music video’s creative concepts, assembled by Nick and the video’s co-director, Ryan Pallotta, reflect a darker imagery, which include smoke-filled rooms, S.W.A.T teams, rioting and model/actress Dylan Penn (daughter of Sean Penn and Robin Wright).

“Chains is a good introduction to the kind of album I’ve made and I’m excited to share the music video with everyone,” said Nick. “While making this upcoming album, I’ve had the opportunity to open up emotionally which has helped me create something I’m really proud of. Chains is just the beginning.”

Showing no signs of slowing down, Nick is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on his upcoming album on Island Records.  He is also in production for DIRECTV’s new original drama series Kingdom, where he portrays a prized MMA fighter. The show, created by Byron Balasco and produced by Endemol Studios, will make its debut Wednesday, October 8 at 9pm on Audience Network.  Kingdom is a visceral family saga that takes place in Venice, CA and is set against the backdrop of the renegade subculture of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).  The series stars Frank Grillo, Kiele Sanchez, Matt Lauria, Jonathan Tucker, Nick Jonas and Joanna Going.
