Nick Carter Takes The Lead on Dancing With The Stars Premiere

Nick Carter On Dancing With The Stars ABC

Shout out to our buddy Nick Carter who kicked off his run on Season 21 of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars last night. He and his partner Sharna Burgess did the cha cha cha to Flo Rida and Robin Thicke’s infectious hit “I Don’t Like It, I Love it.” Nick may not be used to dancing to music that is not his own, but he was sure to sample some Backstreet Boys choreography and throw it into the mix . If you look closely, you can see parts of the moves from Backstreet’s iconic dance from “Everybody (Backstreets Back).” It was exciting to see #TEAMSHARANICK do their thing, as they scored an impressive 24. (8 from all 3 judges) What a great way to start the show!

Coming soon…#IWillWait

There are many new surprises coming soon from Nick on #DWTS! All of Nick’s “brothers” both from blood and Backstreet took to Twitter to show him some love!

It is all well deserved too because Nick and Sharna have tied for the highest score so far! Fans of the show will remember that Nick’s younger brother Aaron Carter was a contestant on the show back in 2009. Nick is also following in the footsteps of fellow NKOTBSB member Joey McIntyre, and former competing boy bander, Joey Fatone from *NSYNC who both previously competed on the show! Nick recently talked to Entertainment Tonight about how a conversation with Joey inspired Nick to try the show. Hopefully this is just the beginning of seeing some smooth moves from #TEAMSHARANICK. Congrats you two!
