New Single From The Script “Hall Of Fame” Featuring Will I Am
The Script "Hall Of Fame" Phonogenic/Epic Records
Irish Pop/Rock trio, and Clizbeats featured band, The Script are ready to share more new music with the world. That music is the first single from their new album called, “Hall Of Fame”. The song serves as a couple of milestones for the group; “Hall Of Fame” is one of the few compositions from the group lead by primarily piano, and infused with a Hip Hop rhythm. It also will be the band’s first single released that featured additional vocals from a guest performer. That guest is none other than Black Eyed Peas rapper and producer, Will I Am. Will joins The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue on vocals trading lyrics line by line, helping build up the song’s uplifting message of encouraging people to dream.
The track went viral after it was first premiered on the British national radio station, BBC 1 on July 23rd. During that broadcast the band was asked about the new sound heard in the song. Marc Sheehan then explained the band’s approach with the it.
“We wanted to capture as much emotion in the track’s sound as there is in the lyrics, which are definitely some of the most positive and upbeat we’ve ever written.” Danny also explained why it was important for Will I Am to appear on the track with them. “We thought it might make a great duet but we wanted to do it line by line, true duet style.”
The Danny O’Donoghue, Marc Sheehan, and Jimbo Barry produced song is the first single from The Script’s third studio album, appropriately titled, #3.
