Back in February we first introduced you to the fun Electro-Pop inspired duet from Coldplay and Rihanna, “Princess Of China” Fans will remember that it is the fourth official single from Coldplay 2011 album, Mylo Xyloto. It follows the release of the album’s previous hits “Every Tear Drop Is A Waterfall”, “Paradise”, and “Charlie Brown.” Now after getting a bunch of radio play after its official promotional release in the beginning of the year, the guys of Coldplay and Rihanna were able to make time in their busy schedules once again to film the music video,
The video was filmed on March 22nd and March 23rd at the Taiko Center in Los Angeles.Fans first got a glimpse of the Adria Petty & Alan Bibby directed video as they performed the song during their North American leg of their Mylo Xyloto Tour. The tour edit of the video began being used on April 17th and featured Rihanna wearing two different costumes and golden ‘claws’ as she performs a choreography with her arms in front of a background with colorful effects. The final edit of the video was finished towards the end of May and published on VEVO on Saturday, June 2nd. Take a look bekow!
