Mega Brit Boy Band One Direction made big moves in New York this morning drawling a record breaking crowd to Rockefeller Plaza for their Today show performance on NBC.  The 15,000 fans.  Today Co- host Al Roker went on record stating that they drew the biggest crowd in the show’s history.  After they performed their hit, “What Makes You Beautiful”, the guys talked with Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie about their new 3D documentary which is set to hit theatures on labor day weekend 2013.  The film is directed by Supersize Me famed director, Morgan Spurlock and will be released by Tri-Star Pictures.  We’ll keep you posted as we learn more details about the new movie.

This new movie locks in very well with promotion of the already highly anticipated 2013 tour, and their latest album, Take Me Home, which was released on November 9th.  Their latest singles from their sophomore effort are “Live While We’re Young”, and most recently, “Little Things”.  Could this be the beginning of a whole new level of One Direction mainia?  We’ll be watching to find out.
