Pop ledged Mariah Carey tweeted the big news that she has decided on the release date to her new album. In a short and sweet statement, she tweeted, “The New Era Begins.. 7/23 #MC723” Carey first reviled that she began working on the album during a pre-American Idol industry phone conference about her buzz single “Triumph.” You can here her talk about her working on that single, and the R&B vibe of her album that is clearly optimized in her hit with Miguel “#Beautiful.” Click here to check it out.
