Madonna And Live Nation Confirm Three Album Licensing Deal With Interscope

Music Industry trade magazine Allaccess.com announced yesterday that Madonna and Live Nation has officially signed a 3 album licensing deal with Interscope Records.  Interscope confirmed to the Allaccess Music Group that Madonna is expected to release her first album for the label in March.  The album is already complete, with a song called “”Gimme All Your Luvin,” set to serve as the album’s first single.  We can expect to start hearing what she has to offer when “Gimme All Your Luvin” is released at the end of January.

This album licensing deal comes as part of Madonna inking a muli-faceted  deal with Live Nation in 2007.  In this deal, Live Nation was set to provide the Pop icon with the opportunity to make studio albums, touring, merchandising, fan club/website, DVDs, music-related television and film projects and associated sponsorship agreements. Looks like signing with Interscope is one piece of something that could be much much bigger. We will keep you posted as details are made available.
