Lil Wayne Goes to Prison

As MTV News reports and several media sources confirm, rapper Lil Wayne pleaded guilty in a   Manhattan Criminal Court today. This is in reference to  a felony weapon possession charge that lingered over him for two years.  These charges stem from his 2007 arrest on his tour bus immediately following his first headlining New York City concert appearance.  As part of the terms of his plea, Wayne will be sentenced to one year in prison.  His sentence will take effect in February.
