Lady Gaga and Interscope Records tweeted has been tweeting a bunch today about the premiere of the new music video for her current single, “The Edge Of Glory. Gaga’s twitter was quoted as saying, “Tomorrow during America’s So You Think You Can Dance, I will premiere the video we made for you. The Edge of Glory debuts 8pm ET/PT on FOX.” The premiere comes on the heals of E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons’ recent stroke. Although Clemons’ signature saxophone sound is featured on the record, we have yet to heard any word on if he will be making an appearance in any capacity in the video The song is one of the most personally rooted songs on Gaga’s Born This Way album, and the vidoe will hopefully be a testament to the great work done by her and Celmons. It should be something to see. Be sure to check it out. In the mean time, according to various blog sites like nj.com report that a source identified as a close friend of Clemons suggested that there is reason for optimism. “His vital signs are improving. He’s responsive. His eyes are welling up when we’re talking to him.” Our thoughts and prayers are with him during his time of recovery.
On a side note, AOL Music reported today that Lady Gaga’s infamous “Meat Dress” that she wore at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards will be turned into a featured exhibit in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. The “Women That Rock” exhibit is also scheduled to debut tomorrow (June 16th) in Cleveland. If you’re able to, make sure to check that out as well.
