(August 13th, 2014 – New York, NY) – South African-born and Arizona-based KONGOS have become one of 2014’s biggest success stories.

Their runaway smash, “Come With Me Now”, just went platinum, exceeding digital sales of 1,000,000 in the United States. It also continues to gain steam daily across radio airwaves. In addition to spending a staggering five weeks at #1 on Alternative Radio and achieving the quickest ascent to the chart’s peak by a new band in history, the track vaulted to #13 at Top 40 and holds #17 at Hot AC, officially making it a cross-format hit. “Come With Me Now” is the lead-off single from the group’s 2014 full-length Lunatic (Epic Records).

Moreover, the song’s impact can be felt virtually everywhere. As “one of the most synced songs of the year”, it has been used by Ram Trucks, Samsung Galaxy, American Idol, The Originals, MTV Movie Awards, HBO, FX, CNN, NBC Sports, ESPN, NFL, WWE, Playstation 4 and more.

Now, not only does it fuel the high-octane trailer for one of summer’s most anticipated films, The Expendables 3, but it also appears in the movie during a key sequence. Its propulsive percussion and powerful chant remain both instantly unforgettable and effusively energetic.

Following Late Night With Seth Meyers and Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this summer, they just hit the stage this morning at NBC’sThe Today Show to give a rousing performance of the “Come With Me Now”.   Watch it here:
