Justin Timberlake to End 2013 On SNL With Jimmy Fallon

Justin Timberlake SNL Bumper

Are you excited for the when Justin Timberlake joins Jimmy Fallon on NBC’s Saturday Night Live this coming Saturday? His last appearance back in March, which ushered him into the franchise’s famed “Five Timers Club”, was the most watched SNL episode of the year. Now, his appearance on the 21st will mark JT’s 5th time appearing on the show as a musical guest. Fallon and Timberlake always have fun working  together, and they always manage to give all of us a lot to talk about. Therefore, expectations are pretty high for this weekend!

As his track record shows,  JT is use to high expectations. 2013 was possibly his biggest year yet. Following a break from music that lasted over 6 years, he returned with The 20/20 Experience, which was also released in March. It went on to become the best selling album of the year, and that was just the beginning for him. The trail of music continued as he released a sequel album only months later called The 20/20 Experience 2 Of 2. As a result this helped him effectively dominate radio and digital playlists across the world.

His film career stayed strong as well. While managing the hype behind receiving MTV’s Video Vanguard Award, the related *N Sync reunion, and collaborating with Jay Z on his Magna Carta: Holy Grail album, Timberlake was also able to work in promotion for both 20th Century Fox’s block buster, Runner Runner, and the Sundance premiered Coen Brothers flick for CBS Films’ Inside Llewyn Davis. Despite Runner Runner’s mixed reviews, the pressure of efficient multitasking seems to help him rise to a whole new level. We’re betting Jimmy helps him end his stellar year with some great TV. Check it out this Saturday and see if you agree.
