Earlier today Justin Bieber surprised his fans when he dropped a bombshell in the form of the news of canceling his remaining tour dates of his Purpose World Tour.
He’s called it quits despite the 14 remaining shows on his schedule starting with Arlington, TX this weekend. Sources close to Bieber told TMZ that Justin’s “just over it.”
The tour started March 9th in Seattle, and was wrapping up with dates in Texas, Denver, East Rutherford, NJ and also the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. He was also scheduled to make a few international stops in Japan, Singapore and the Philippines.
After TMZ’s initial report Justin’s team released an official statement.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts. Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.
