Ja Rule: New Music, Jail Time, and Reality Shows, Oh My!

Rapper Ja Rule appeared in Manhattan Supreme Court yesterday, regarding his 2007 gun possession charge.  The New York Post reports that the judge agreed to push Ja’s surrender to June.  In the mean time he will be using his freedom to work on his album, Renaissance Project.  Ja Rule is at least making good use of all the drama in his life at the moment.  He is currently starring in a reality show, currently in production.  “My reality show, I like it because it’s showing a strong black family going through a tough time,” Ja Rule said. “And how we band together as a family and how my wife and kids, my moms and her moms, bond together during this tough time when I have to go in.”
