Canadian born Singer/Songwriter Anjulie is no stranger to the U.S. music scene. Her 2009 single “Boom” not only reached #1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play chart, but her video for the song was also an MTV Music Video Award nominee in the Best Breakthrough Video category. She has also had her music featured on such popular American television shows as The Vampire Diaries, Melrose Place, and The Hills.
Anjulie is looking to bolster her U.S. career with the release of the single, “Brand New B*tch”. The upbeat dance track, which she wrote herself, declares rather vividly her independence from a former lackluster lover. There have also been a number of remixes done with the song which is sure to add to the tracks club play appeal.
“Brand New B*tch” serves as the first single for Anjulie’s upcoming album on Universal Republic. She has taken an extremely active role in the creation of her new LP. She not only penned each song herself, but she also personally sought out each track’s producer.
Be on the lookout for Anjulies’s album to be released sometime next year. In the meantime you can find “Brand New B*tch” on itunes as well as spinning at night clubs all across North America
