Roger Ortega “The Lottery”

Roger Ortega, originally from Topeka, KS, now residing in New Jersey has had a whirlwind few years since coming back onto the music scene. He has sold out the Cutting Room in NYC, opened for Aaron Carter and O-Town. Has performed in Kansas, Boston, Buffalo, Philly, Toronto and much more. Roger released his first album RnBPoPWrtyr in 2012 and decided 3 years ago to start working on a new one. On June 4th 2016 Roger released his album THE LOTTERY which reached #8 on the iTunes R&B/Soul charts. A huge accomplishment for an indie artist. The first single off his album WHEN IM WITH YOU was released back in April and is sitting at #1 on the Atlantic UK Radio Charts. The music video for the track was released officially on his YouTube channel on June 5th.

In the video Roger and his wife, Heather join over 60 people from 10 different countries in New York City’s Times Square to help celebrate different kinds of love stories. With the passing of his father in February this year Roger decided to put on a concert in Kansas at the Gage Park Ampitheather called the Home Coming. This was a packed event with a beautiful tribute to his dad. He gave back to the community that has given so much to him over the years. Roger held a contest for local high school students to open for him. As well Canadian pop singer Andrea Godin flew out to perform at the event. He truly put his all into this show with full production and all.

Roger was in Toronto,Ont Canada on June 18th for a release party at Orchid night club as well as interviews and a pre party event for the Much Music Video Awards. Next he will be heading back to Kansas in July to close out Fiesta.
