#ICYMI: Why Bloom Punched Bieber

Orlando Bloom and Justin Bieber exchanged more than just words at Cipriani in Ibiza, Spain, early Wednesday, according to TMZ. The two stars got up in each others faces, and after some heated words, Bloom threw a punch at Bieber before the  the altercation was quickly diffused by their entourages.

That punch, and the words that provoked it, have been a topic of debate since the incident occurred. PageSix is reporting that Bieber may have instigated the shoving match when a source stated,“Bieber and his party were later walking past Bloom’s table, Orlando refused to shake Bieber’s hand. Bieber said something rude to Orlando, like, ‘She was good.’”

The “she” the Biebs was referring to is Orlando Bloom’s ex-wife,  Victoria Secret model, Miranda Kerr. The couple split last October after three years of marriage. Some may attribute the spit to tension caused when  Kerr and Biebers got friendly  at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in October 2012.

The hostility between the two doesn’t simply end there, as the Pirates of The Caribbean star gave Bieber a taste of his own medicine earlier this April. The newly single Bloom was spotted spending time with Bieber’s ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

While we can only speculate what the relationship between Bloom and Gomez was then, it was clear Bieber wanted to make it known that his past encounter with Kerr was indeed “Good.” Hours after the fight, Bieber fueled the fire by posting a picture of the Victoria Secrets model on his instagram (with a crown emoji for a caption), but deleting the picture minutes after.

It should be noted that Kerr was adamant that she did not sleep with Bieber after the 2012 fashion show and that such claims are “false and defamatory.”

It’s unknown if the bad blood between these two will ever be settled, but it doesn’t look like they’ll be double dating any time soon. For more information regarding the incident, and consistent updates, be sure to check back here, and check out the video below.
