#ICYMI: Weekend Drama, Weddings, And More!

What a busy weekend!

Incase you missed it, there’s some beef going on between Demi Lovato and Lady Gaga, as well as Miley Cyrus…Yikes.

Claws were out this weekend after Lady Gaga’s controversial performance of her song “Swine” on the SXSW Doritos stage.

Demi Lovato took to Twitter to vent her disgust of “Mother Monster’s” display of somewhat “Glamorizing eating disorders” Check out those tweets:

Gaga, during her performance (incase you missed it) says “F*ck you pop music, this is ARTPOP”. Whether you are Team Demi or Team Gaga, it’s easy to understand where Demi is coming from. Oh, and incase you were wondering, although Demi remains a “Little monster” fellow pop singer, Miley Cyrus is NOT a fan of the “Applause” singer. In her recent W Magazine interview Miley refers to Gaga as “unoriginal” . Behind the scenes, it seems theres a little beef going on between Mileybird and Demi Lovato as well.  According to Perez Hilton,  the two unfollowed each other over the weekend and Demi posted this cryptic tweet shortly after.

Speaking of Miley Cyrus, Rolling Stone  reports she had a pretty busy weekend in the studio with the Flaming Lips and Andrew VanWyngarden of MGMT. The group of artists were  working on a cover of the Beatles’ hit song, “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds”. Wayne Coyne, of the Flaming Lips also posted this photo of the “We Can’t Stop”  singer with strategically placed “Bangerz” rolling paper while working.

In other news,

Mail Online reports Britney Spears’ little sister Jamie Lynn tied the knot to long-time boyfriend Jamie Watson in a small family ceremony. Jamie Lynn’s daughter Maddie was the adorable flower girl.

Britney’s sons were also at the wedding with their mom and her boyfriend David Lucado.

Also married this weekend according to Huffington Post ,was Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx. He married girlfriend model and How2girl blogger, Courtney Bingham.

Sixx proposed back in 2012 with a 6-carat ring.  This is his third wedding, hopefully the third times a charm.
