#ICYMI: Sony Hackers Reveal Beyonce’s Dad Seeking Destiny’s Child Movie

If you’ve been keeping up with the news, odds are that you’ve heard about the hacking of Sony’s motion picture division, which lead to the bulk release of several private executive emails. Well, in addition to embarrassing folks like corporate execs and acting celebs like Seth Rogen James Franco, Angelina Jolie, and Kevin Hart, it turns out that even queen Bey and friends are being thrown in the mix.

In case you missed it, word is that Mrs. Carter and her fellow Destiny’s Child members were the subject of discussion between Sony Execs and Bey’s estranged manager/father. TMZ reports that Matthew Knowles offered Sony the first look at his intended DC biopic back in December of last year. This is particularly interesting to note because most of the news related to Matthew Knowles has involved his multiple extramarital affairs and the illegitimate children that were born out of them.  TMZ has learned that Lifetime, the network that is now nearly infamous for their recently released Wendy Williams Production Aaliyah: Princess Of R&B is possibly perusing a Destiny’s Child film.

No word on if Matthew Knowles would be involved with said film, but Beyonce and her superstar husband Jay-Z don’t need any extra bad press right now. TMZ also reported this week that the power couple and producer Timbaland are being sued for their hit “Drunk In Love”. Roma folk singer Monika Miczura, aka Mitsou is claiming that the three pop music super stars swiped part of her tune “Bajba, Bajba Pelem” as the sampled intro to the song’s build up. Mitsou wants damages and is asking that the song be prohibited from being played from here on so long as it playing the song as long as it has her voice on it.

We’ll keep you posted on all things Bey, Jay, and all their surrounding drama as the info unfolds just in case you missed it.
