Michael J. Fox continues to show the world why he’s one of the coolest celebrities out there. In case you missed it, the Back To The Future star is trending across social media thanks to he and musician Dave Matthews rocking the house at a star studded charity event this past Saturday. While attending “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s: An Evening of Comedy & Music to Benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation”, the 55 year old super star channeled his character Marty McFly’s iconic “Johhny B. Goode” scene to rip a guitar solo and show that he literally can keep up with the best of them.

Fox co-chaired the event with his wife Tracy Pollan, veteran news anchor Katie Couric, her husband John Molner, actress Blake Lively and her husband, Deadpool star, Ryan Reynolds. He took the stage while dressed in a white button-down and black tie. Matthews was dressed in an all-black ensemble. There was nothing but smiles the whole time.

Ryan Reynolds, whose father also suffers from Parkinson’s disease, couldn’t help but gush with admiration for Fox when discussing their eight years friendship with People Magazine in 2013.

“He’s incredible in everything that he does, from the foundation to his work to his work ethic,” Reynolds told PEOPLE in 2013. “There’s a reason why everyone likes this guy so much – he’s just unsinkable.”

Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991. After going public about his illness in 1998, he committed himself to the pursuit of increasing research for a cure. After seeing things like this, you can’t help but agree with Reynolds. He is “Unsinkable!” Click here for more.
