Justin Bieber is bringing a whole new meaning to “What Do You Mean.” In addition to being the title to his latest hit single, it is also the question we couldn’t help but ask while reading his latest interview with Complex.com. The Biebe went on record saying that he wants to be like Jesus.
“I just wanna honestly live like Jesus,” Bieber told Complex.
“Not be Jesus – I could never – I don’t want that to come across weird. He created a pretty awesome template of how to love people and how to be gracious and kind. If you believe it, he died for our sins.”
Justin went on to credit his faith as the reason for turning his life around from being the house egging, tabloid staple of the last few years.
“We have the greatest healer of all, and his name is Jesus Christ,” he said. “And he really heals. This is it. It’s time that we all share our voice. Whatever you believe. Share it. I’m at a point where I’m not going to hold this in.”
The key to being Christian, Bieber said is having “this connection that you feel there’s no insecurities”
Hopefully Justin learns to turn the other cheek. News has broken of Australian model Bailey Scarlett claiming that her drink was spiked at Bieber’s listening party in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday. Reports indicate that the model claims to have poured herself a drink of vodka and lemonade before eventually settting it down to chat with other girls at the party. Scarlett said that she began to feel woozy and disoriented soon after.
As her condition worsened, Scarlett removed herself from the party to call the police. Melbourne authorities told TMZ that they were responding to a call from a woman at the location who “believed her drink had been spiked.” She was then taken to a local hospital where she was advised to file an official report.
According to Jimi Wyatt, who owns the recording studio that hosted Bieber’s event, security footage was checked, saying that Bailey’s cup is visible the entire time and her drink was never touched. Event organizer Alex McDonnell thinks Scarlett had a panic attack. The Story is still developing.
