#ICYMI: Joel The Lump Of Coal Brings Christmas Cheer

By Andrew McMahon

Following their annual tradition, the Killers have teamed up with Jimmy Kimmel for a Christmas Jingle, with the proceeds going to the AIDS awareness organization (RED). The song, titled “Joel the Lump of Coal,” premiered on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week, and it was super funny to watch.

Although the song is mostly light hearted and funny, rhyming opposite subjects like the north pole with neck moles, it also contains a light hearted message. Just like anyone else on Christmas, Joel just wants to feel special, and wants to make someone else feel special too.

Kimmel also showed some behind the scenes video about the making  Joel’s song and video, with a bevy of other hilarious ideas that we won’t spoil for you (here’s a hint, one involves grandma being ran over on black friday).

Check it out above.
