#ICYMI: Christina Aguilera Impersonates Britney Spears And Ed Sheeran Gets “Dirrty”

In case you missed it, pop star Christina Aguilera made an appearance on the Tonight Show Staring Jimmy Fallon last night to promote the latest installment of music competition show The Voice. To make things interesting, Jimmy took advantage of Christina’s well known vocal flexibility, and made her play against him as they spin the “wheel of musical impressions.  Through out the very entertaining game, Christina did flawless impressions of Cher singing the Folgers Crystals,  Britney Spears, doing a very “Baby One More Time” version of the nursery rhyme “this little piggie,” and Shakira singing the theme to the Golden Girls TV show.

Her nearly perfect take on Britney is an obvious fan favorite, but we must confess, we’re loving Jimmy’s impression of Michael McDonald as he sang, itsy bitsy spider. If you like that, you’ll love Jimmy as David Bowe singing “Grand Old flag. Check it out and see what you think.

In related news, Ed Sheeran is going viral as well for impersonating Christina Aguilera. He joined the folks at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge to do an cover her 2002 hit “Dirrty.”  He does a great job tackling both her vocals and Redman’s rap verse. Check it out.
