Alternative Hip Hop Rockers, Gym Class Heroes have been riding high of the success of their come back single, “Stereo Hearts” featuring Maroon 5’s Adam Levine. Since we first saw the band rehearse the song with Levine on his show, NBC’s The Voice this summer, the song has gone on to sell over one million singles on ITunes, topped the US Billboard Pop singles chart, and received over 149 million views on YouTube! Those kinds of stats are the perfect launching pad for the band’s album that the song is connected to. “Stereo Hearts” is the first single from the band’s forthcoming album, The Papercut Chronicles II, hitting stores on November 15th from Fueled By Ramen/Decaydance/Atlantic Records! The Papercut Chronicles II is the sequel to the band’s 2005 album, The Papercut Chronicles that first featured the band’s breakthrough hit “Cupid’s Chokehold” before the song blew up as a part of the band’s major label cross over smash album, 2006’s, As Cruel As School Children.

The Papercut Chronicles II combines the Pop/Punk production aspects the group got from working with Patrick Stump and combines it with the more Rhythmic sound that the band’s front-man, Travie McCoy developed on his 2010 solo album, Lazarus. This new Gym Class album follows up “Stereo Hearts” with a few key tracks that have been getting buzz online. The first is the album’s second single, “Life Goes On” featuring Danish singer-songwriter and record producer Oh Land.. It was produced by Hip Hop producer Emile Haynie who is best known for producing various artists from Eminem’s Shady Records roster (including Eminem himself), as well as producing with Kid Cudi and Kanye West among others. Another key song from the album is the third official single, “Ass Back Home” featuring Neon Hitch. It was first released to ITunes on November 1st and will follow “Stereo Hearts” as the album’s second single to be serviced to Top 40 Mainstream/Pop radio. Neon Hutch is a developing singer/songwriter signed with Warner Bros. Records. She was discovered on Myspace by Pop hit maker, Benny Blanco who is one of the album’s main producers.  It was through working with Benny that she did not only work with Gym Class Heroes, but she also co-wrote and sang background vocals on “Blah, Blah, Blah” by Ke$ha. Blanco also was the co-writer and producer of “Stereo Hearts.” The latest promotional digital single to be released from the album is, “The Fighter”, and it features another accomplished singer/song writer/producer in his own right, Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. The song was put on sale digitally today and is sure to be another strong future hit for the band!

To help promote the new album, the band will be appearing on NBC’s The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on November 17th. Keep checking back with us as more details become available about Gym Class Heroes’ promotional schedule, and don’t forget to check out the whole album on November 15th!
