The news first broke yesterday that vet Rock trio Green Day were forced to cancel all of their 2012 appearances and postpone their upcoming North American tour because of lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong’s recent stint in rehab that resulted from his now infamous breakdown that happened at the IHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September.  Understandably, the band wants to do their part in making it up to their fans by moving up the release dates for the remainder of their album trilogy ¡Uno!’, ¡Dos! and ¡Tré!.

“We feel bad we have to delay our tour, so to make up for it we want to give our fans the music earlier than we had planned,” said drummer Tre Cool. “If we couldn’t be there to play it for you live, the least we could do was give you the next best thing.”

Now the remaining albums from the trilogy, Dos! and ¡Tré! will be released on on November 13th and December 11, 2012.  Hopefully  this will start another streak of good luck for the band because, amongst moving things around to accommodate their unexpectedly turbulent, Green Day is also taking the helm of one of the biggest movie soundtracks out today.  The news has recently broke that MTV is all set to premiere Green Day’s “The Forgotten” music video as the first representation of music to come from Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.  The soundtrack that also features the likes of Passion Pit, St. Vincent, Ellie Goulding, and Christina Perri will be available Tuesday, November 13.  Fans can check out the MTV exclusive premiere at 6:55 p.m. ET/PT on MTV and MTV.com.
