Bronx based rapper French Montana has been hard at work promoting his up coming debut album Excuse My French since the release of his debut buzz single, Shot Caller last December.  A Diddy remix and album release date shift later, the fruits of his major label deal with Maybach Music Group and Bad Boy/Interscope Records appear to be kicking in just fine.  We find the statement of his growing affluence to be shown clearest in the music video for his latest single, “Pop That”.  The song features current Hip Hop tightens Rick Ross, Drake, and Lil Wayne, as well as several bathing suite wearing beauties.

The video that was first released this past Sunday, July 8th seems to be everything that a fresh faced rapper would want for himself.  From frame one the video is packed with flowing images of Ciroc Vodka, Trukfit clothing, and a tone of hedonistic sexiness.  If summed up, it is a Hip Hop music video stereotype in the best way possible.  Take a look for yourself and see if you don’t agree. “Pop That is the weeks most added Hip Hop song with 49 radio stations placing it in rotation.  Cheers to your success French.
