Frank Turner released the video for his song “The Way I Tend To Be” from his recently released cd, TAPE DECK HEART this week. Turner, who headlined Wembley Arena last year and was also chosen as the act to open Danny Boyle’s stunning Olympic Opening Ceremony, has recently completed a sold out UK tour. He will tour stateside this summer commencing June 1 in Lancaster, PA with two dates at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on July 30 + 31. The tour wraps August 6th in Madison, WI.
Like the rest of TAPE DECK HEART, “The Way I Tend To Be” was produced by Muse collaborator Rich Costey. A breezy, mandolin-flecked sing-along with Turner’s stirring delivery at the center of it; it’s a love song, Frank Turner-style, a grizzled ballad. Rolling Stone says Turner turns out,“ highly quotable, sometimes deliriously catchy rants about life after punk.”

The video was directed by James Copeman (Biffy Clyro, Noah And The Whale). Check out the video below.
