Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Talks Prince’s Death And Possible Drug Overdose With TMZ’s Harvey Levin

Megyn Kelly spoke with TMZ head Harvey Levin tonight about his site’s breaking story that alleges Prince may have died of a drug overdose. During his appearance on Fox News Channel’s Kelly File, Levin explained that Prince was treated for a drug overdose 6 days before his death. He went on to say that multiple sources told TMZ that Prince’s private jet made an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois last Friday, only hours after his recent Atlanta performance.

The singer’s reps said he was battling the flu, but TMZ questioned what they view as inconsistencies in the story, and began to investigate. This resulted in them finding multiple sources in Moline telling them, that Prince was given what was described as a “Save Shot” after being rushed to a hospital. Typically Save Shots are administered to counteract the effects of an opiate.

Doctors reportedly advised Prince to stay in the hospital for 24 hours. However, he left only hours later when  he wasn’t accommodated with a private room. Watch the full discussion above
