ELIJAH BLAKE’s DEBUT ALBUM “SHADOWS & DIAMONDS” DEF JAM RECORDS

(June 15, 2015 – New York, NY)  The countdown leading up to the June 23rd release ofSHADOWS & DIAMONDS – the debut album from Grammy Award®-winning ARTium/ Def Jam recording artist Elijah Blake –gets another major boost when VEVO begins streaming the entire album starting June 15th. Elijah’s breakthrough single “I Just Wanna” featuring Dej Loaf has garnered over 2.1 million views already and is steadily climbing the charts.

Elijah Blake has become the secret weapon behind hits from Rick Ross, Rihanna, Nas, Common, Alicia Keys, and Usher, with whom he penned his Grammy®-winning “Climax.” Pre-orders for SHADOWS AND DIAMONDS launched April 28th with the release of “I Just Wanna” and “Everyday,” the first two instant grat tracks from the album.  Every two weeks since the pre-order announcement a new instant grat track has been added to the iTunes pre-order, including “Fading” (May 12), “Drop Dead Beautiful” (May 26), and “Uno” (June 9).

SHADOWS & DIAMONDS is executive produced by the legendary No I.D., head of ARTium Records and Executive Vice President of Def Jam.  The album follows up Elijah’s previous EP which included “SIX” and “Wicked,” both produced by No I.D.  The visual single “Strange Fruit” was produced by frequent The Weeknd-collaborator Illangelo and featured a dark, sensual video directed by Sean Alexander.

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Florida, Elijah Blake found inspiration for SHADOWS & DIAMONDS when he was forced to find light in the darkest of moments. Living apart from his family for the first time in his life, Blake found the solace he needed in his music.
